Anthony Franca is a senior systems and cloud engineer with more than 18 years of experience across systems administration, infrastructure engineering, end user computing, and automation. His work has spanned defense, finance, higher education, and government environments, with infrastructure ranging from small server fleets to enterprise environments with more than 16,000 servers.

The Pivot to Apple
Anthony's roots are in the Windows, PowerShell, and SCCM world, but his current focus includes helping administrators navigate the transition into Apple and Jamf administration. As a Jamf Certified Expert (Jamf 400), he works on translating familiar Windows administration patterns into practical macOS, Jamf Pro, and Apple platform workflows.

End User Computing Expertise
Anthony currently serves as a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in End User Computing (EUC) and VDI architecture. He manages the lifecycle of Amazon WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Pools, and WorkSpaces Applications, with a focus on isolated environments, availability, API-driven operations, and cost-aware scaling.

Engineering Beyond the Terminal
Anthony works heavily with automation, scripting, and infrastructure operations, from early Windows PowerShell through PowerShell 7+, with practical macOS shell work in zsh. When he is not working through endpoint architecture, cloud migrations, or automation problems, he can usually be found refining homebrew recipes or playing video games.
